L'Arche Kenya is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jean Vanier, the Founder of L'Arche, today Tuesday, May 7 at 2:10 am.
On April 1 the new Outreach Programme of L'Arche Kenya commenced its activities. It will offer therapeutic and advisory services to people with disabilities, with a special focus on children with developmental issues.
Betania Home is one ofLl'Arche Kenya's two homes where people with intellectual disabilities live together with permanent and visiting assistants. The homes provide a family-like environment and receive support from the community in the form of services, donations and payments of utility bills. Today; Betania Home celebrated seven years of making known the gifts of people with intellectual disabilities.
